Operation

The Electro Hydraulic Thruster Brake to the shoe is transmitted from the spring by mean of an extremely rigid and simple lever / tie rod mechanism. Braking is smooth and positive. Release of the brake shoes effected by energizing the 3 phase thruster which overcome the spring force & the shoe are moved clear off the drum by lever arm linkage system. The mechanism is balanced to give equal shoe clearance. Electro Hydraulic Thruster Brake are suitable for 400 /440volts, 3 Phase, 50 Hz A.C. supply.
