Efficient Electromagnetic Brakes: Low Maintenance and Reliable Performance

When current is applied to the brake, an electromagnet attracts one disc against spring pressure and releases the liner plate. Thus, the brake is turned off. Once set, the brake does not require any adjustments or maintenance. When the liner plate wears out with use, only the air gap needs to be maintained on a regular basis. The option to manually release the brake is also available. We provide a rectifier-transformer that converts DC Brakes. These brakes should not be used for inching because they are a little slow.
